Here we have a beautiful 1967 Alfa duetto with a current bid at $16,000.
The car has a few minor flaws. The front bumpers could be fitted better, the center grill is missing a fin, the top is a bit ill fitting, its missing a few interior bits and bobs and the paint is a bit iffy. But it’s should be expected when a showroom duetto is selling for $50,000 and up.
The most interesting thing about this car is the engine. It’s a 1.6L dual-carbed, twin cam 4 cylinder. But wait something’s not right here. Where’s the twin webers? This car has been fitted with a single downdraft weber carb, something you would find on a eariler Giulia or Giulietta. Why? I have no idea, and apparently neither does the seller.
It’s also missing a mounting stud for the aftermarket K&N airfilter. But it does have a Spectre oil breather filter which should increase the value since I know of an internet famous alfa with the exact same filter.

Do you ever look at reliable cars?

just about ANYTHING is reliable if you carry tools, and spares, know a few workarounds...........

Haven’t done a whole lot of body work recently, but I did do a brake line and the front wheel bearings.

If reliability is what you desire, you’ve come to the wrong place.

Maybe it’s obvious since I’m a Z owner, but I always wished Alfa made a little hatchback or hard top of those.

that is good though, all the minor stuff adds up to making it more drivable..........
